GENEOS

The purpose of this research study is to understand changes in memory, learning, attention and concentration (which we call cognition in technical terms) and in the brain in those with schizophrenia between the ages 12 and 21 years. As a part of this study, we ask questions regarding potential symptoms and administer computerized and paper and pencil tests to see how well you do on cognition, and also take pictures of your brain using an MRI. We hope to use this information to understand the association of cognitive impairments and brain differences in individuals with early-onset schizophrenia.
